Platform demo

One platform, for the whole sport.

thesport.fit is where functional fitness keeps its record. Athletes get a profile and a ranking, clubs get a page and a roster, officials get a certified pathway, and a federation gets the whole system on its own domain. Canada’s federation runs on it today: everything below is the live site, cf3.thesport.fit, as it looked on 14 September 2026.

  • Athletes

Your qualification status, your ranking against the whole field, every event in one place, and a profile you can share.

Athlete spotlight

One athlete, one page.

Every athlete on the platform gets a page that carries their whole competitive record and their ranking — and it is built to be shared.

On a phone

Ranked on what you have done.

An athlete ranking built from past sanctioned performances. Any event run on the six-test format can count toward it, so a Nationals result and a qualifier result sit on the same scale.

A score against the whole field.

Each test is scored as the share of the comparable field beaten: everyone at the event, any division, who did the identical test. The bars show where an athlete is strongest, and the rankings page orders the whole field by it.

Your club, on the record.

Home club and coach on every profile, so it is obvious who from your club is involved and how: competing athlete, active member, technical official and their level.

Built to share.

A share card that renders on Instagram and messaging apps, and a phone layout that is the page, not an afterthought.

For athletes

Know what you have qualified for, where you rank, every event in one place, and a profile worth sharing.

Qualification status

See who has qualified, live

Live qualification status, online: who has qualified for Team Canada, in which years, through which events, and how. Every qualification a membership can carry, Nationals to Worlds, with the athletes who hold it. On an event page a qualified athlete sees a green banner and registers without paperwork; everyone else sees the pathway.

Why it matters. Qualification used to be an email thread. Now anyone can check it, and event registration reads it automatically.

Leaderboards

Leaderboards for athletes and for officials

Athletes are ranked across events and against each other. But a federation's job is to raise the standard of the sport, and the way to do that is to raise the technical officials, volunteers and clubs who make competition possible. So there is a second leaderboard: the members and clubs who step up the most, who judge and volunteer the most, recognised in public.

Why it matters. Leaderboards on every side of sport development, not only the podium.

Competitions calendar

Every event, from any platform, in one place

Circle21 events list themselves and stay in sync. Events run on any other platform are welcome too: paste the event's URL and the details are extracted for you to review, and it is listed alongside everything else, tagged by type, province and sanctioning so it is easy to find. A club's events appear on its club page automatically, and anyone set up as an event's organizer can edit its details on the site. We encourage Circle21, and we are open to syncing other platforms.

Why it matters. Athletes find every event in one place; organizers get theirs in front of every member without entering it twice.

Members directory

A public directory, with full profiles for members

Athletes, coaches, officials and club operators, searchable by name, province and type, with active-member and certification badges. Visitors see public-profile fields only; personal details stay private. The full athlete and club profile comes with a federation membership — in Canada that is $15 a year for an athlete and $150 for a club — which is also what supports the non-profit federation.

Why it matters. Members can be found by clubs, event organizers and each other, and every membership funds the sport.

For clubs and organizers

Show off your club and every one of its athletes: who trains with you, what they have done, and every event you host, kept current from Circle21.

Circle21 integration

Keep your event in Circle21. Your site stays current.

Events run on Circle21 sync automatically: dates, the registration window, price, divisions and workouts as they are released are pulled from Circle21 and shown on your site, which links back out to Circle21 for registration and live leaderboards. Your site is the hub for your athletes; it does not repeat what Circle21 already does.

Why it matters. Update the event once, in Circle21, and every athlete sees it on your site the same day.

Club profiles

Every club is listed. Members get the full profile.

Any club a member or athlete belongs to is listed automatically, free. A club with an active club membership gets the full profile: every athlete and member, every technical official, and every past and future event it hosts, synced from Circle21 or added by submitting the event's link. Club results feed the club and volunteer leaderboards too.

Why it matters. Your club's competitive record, its officials and its events become one page you can send to a prospective member.

Workout library

Every competition workout in one library, and a standard for every division

300+ workouts used across competitions, tests and training plans, with movement standards, divisions and score types. We have pulled every workout from IF3 Worlds and from Canadian events of the past three to five years, and we use that history to help federations standardize what each division should expect at national and international level. Supply your federation's past workouts, or give us access, and we import them and build the same unified standard of expectation for your divisions.

Why it matters. Coaches program from the same tests athletes will meet at a championship, and every division's expectations are grounded in real events.

For technical officials

Free training, online assessments and a certification that climbs into the IF3's international pathway.

Certification pathway

A certification pathway that climbs into the IF3's

The full pathway from Level 1 to Level 5 within your federation: what each level requires, how to train, how to test, and who holds each level. It ties automatically into the IF3 technical-official pathway, so climbing the ranks at home is how an official becomes internationally recognised. If your federation has no system yet, we help you build one.

Why it matters. A national certification earned from anywhere in the country, recognised internationally, and a credential any organizer can verify in one click.

Online assessment

Assessments online, including quizzes built for your event

Timed online quizzes drawn from the IF3 test bank: movement standards, judging protocols and competition procedures, scored instantly and recorded to the official's profile. Event-specific quizzes too: put your event's workouts in and the platform generates a quiz on exactly the movement standards your competition uses, to test your officials and judges before the day.

Why it matters. No exam sitting to schedule, and every judge on the floor has been tested on the standards they are about to enforce.

Training library

Judging guides and movement standards, free

Free technical-official training, produced by the IF3 and CF3 technical-official committees and made available to every federation, registered club and sanctioned event: guides, videos and judging notes per movement and per test, organized by certification level, alongside the searchable IF3 movement standards catalogue.

Why it matters. Athletes deserve consistent officials, consistent calls and consistent standards. Judges and athletes read the same standard from the same page, and officials climb the rankings against their federation's or the IF3's standards.

For federations

Transparency at the forefront: news, updates and governance documentation in the open, on the road to SportAccord.

News and updates

News, events and updates, in one place

An easy back end for posting news and updates, and a front page that carries the latest news, the upcoming sanctioned events and headline standings, refreshed as content is published. Every article has a share card that renders properly on social apps. As an add-on, news can also generate and schedule social media posts automatically.

Why it matters. A visitor learns what the federation is doing this month without clicking anywhere, and staff post once.

Governance

Governance documentation, published

Every federation gets a back end for working toward the IF3's SportAccord requirements and publishing its governance documentation; what SportAccord requires is listed publicly as far as required. The full public governance front end you see on the Canadian site, with by-laws, policies, the complaints process and a register of every document with published editions, is a custom add-on because it differs by country. We build it as cheaply as possible, because transparency is key for everybody.

Why it matters. A national sport organization's paperwork, where members and funders can actually read it.

Toward SportAccord, together

Our goal is to help the IF3 toward its SportAccord recognition, and a big part of that is getting all fifty-plus federations up to speed on governance documentation. The back end for that is available to every federation on the platform; the public front end is an option for everybody.

What a federation gets

One platform, your federation.

The same system Canada runs on, set up on your data, at your address, with your staff in the back office.

  • Your own database and domain

Your federation's own Airtable base, at your own address: yourfederation.thesport.fit, or a custom domain such as cf3.fit, where you cover the registration fee. Your data stays yours.

    cf3.thesport.fit
  • Results in, profiles out

Send us your event's leaderboard export after a championship (a Circle21 export works as-is); the leaderboard, every athlete's profile and the rankings are generated from it.

    See the rankings
  • Memberships and registration

Optionally synchronised with Circle21. Link your Stripe account and the platform tracks whether a member is active, whether they bought through Circle21 or through your site.

  • Every event, from any platform

Circle21 events sync automatically; any other event is listed from its URL and kept up to date by its organizer.
